Jorge Guevara Mellado School, located in Santa Eulalia, Peru, witnessed a momentous celebration in January 2022. JGM Innovation, a non-profit organization that helps children in Peru, awarded scholarships to 26 students who showed exceptional academic performance and parental involvement throughout the academic year.
The Family Achievement Scholarship: Rewarding Academic Success and Parental Involvement
JGM Innovation's scholarship is called Family Achievement and rewards students who excel academically and whose families actively participate in their children's education. This scholarship program also includes a special treat for the recipients. They were awarded a day at a country club with a pool, games, a river, and a delicious lunch.
The scholarship program is part of JGM Innovation's mission to create opportunities for the underprivileged students of Peru. Many families in the Santa Eulalia region face financial challenges and cannot afford such luxuries. Thus, the Family Achievement scholarship program provides a memorable experience for families and children, creating long-lasting memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Celebrating Success: The Second Year of JGM Innovation's Scholarship Program
This is the second year we have done the scholarship program, and it has been a great success. It motivates students and families to prioritize academic excellence and active participation in children's education. JGM Innovation is dedicated to creating a better future for the children of Peru by improving opportunities and access to STEM programs. With proper education, the children of Peru can achieve their full potential, create long-lasting change in their communities, and, ultimately, make the world a better place.
A Testament to Dedication: Recognizing the Hard Work of Students, Teachers, and Families
The recent scholarship awards, which are a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Santa Eulalia public school students, teachers, and families, were made possible with the support of the school's principal, Marilyn Ocaris Cisneros. The scholarships awarded recognized the importance of academic excellence and parent education engagement in creating a better future for the underprivileged children of Peru. We take great pride in the exceptional work being done at the school, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of the scholarship recipients. We wish them continued success and the very best in their future endeavors.
