Lighthouse: Where Data Becomes Direction

Today, we are officially launching Lighthouse, JGM Innovation's central hub for child and community impact data. Lighthouse is our data analysis and visualization terminal, bringing together the information our team relies on into one place we can actually use.

This has been months in the making, and we are excited to finally bring it online.

Why We Built This

At JGM Innovation, we lead with facts. Every neighborhood we serve, every student we help, and every dollar we raise deserves to be backed by real evidence. Lighthouse was built to be that evidence base. It pulls together the information that matters most and puts it in one place, giving us a sharper answer to the question of where the need is greatest.

The Three Pillars of Lighthouse

Lighthouse is organized around three intelligence pillars, each one answering a question that shapes how we serve our communities.

Socioeconomic Risk: This pillar identifies service deserts, the neighborhoods that carry high risk factors like poverty and dropout rates but have little to no existing support. It tells us exactly where our team and our resources are needed most, so we can stop guessing and start deploying with intention.

Workforce Forecasting: This pillar looks past today's job postings and into the economy our students will actually graduate into. By analyzing labor trends, salary growth, and the risk certain degrees carry over time, it helps us prepare students for careers that lead to real, sustainable, living wages, not just careers that sound promising today.

Automation & AI: This pillar tracks the pace of change in artificial intelligence, from everyday adoption to market share to subscription costs. Our goal here is to close what we call the Digital Divide 2.0. We want our students and our non-profit partners to understand how to use these tools affordably and effectively, so they stay competitive instead of getting left behind.

This launch is not just a new feature or a new page on our website, it is a shift in how JGM Innovation makes decisions. Every recommendation, every program, and every partnership we build going forward can now be grounded in something solid. That is a big deal, and it is worth taking a moment to recognize the work that went into building it.
